Born and raised in Troy, NY, Meaghan brings a deep love for community, family, and meaningful work to Haven. Meaghan was a dedicated high school English teacher for 11 years and gained experience in business ownership and account management running their family-owned lawn care/excavating business. She also published her memoir, Widows Can Love Again, in 2025 which quickly became a best-seller.  However, she felt called to create something more personal with her sister/Goddaughter, Natalie Sanvidge, in keeping their dad's legacy alive through opening a 100% Gluten Free cafe in his already established business location.

Diagnosed with celiac disease 8 years ago, Meaghan knows firsthand how difficult it can be to safely enjoy dining out. After one too many experiences of being "glutened" she made it her mission to create a space that is truly safe. Haven is exactly that, a place where those with celiac disease, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions can feel confident, cared for, and excited to eat.

Outside of the cafe, she loves spending time with her family, cheering on her daughter Bella, getting to the lake, and staying active. She's proud to be building Haven alongside her family, honoring their late father's legacy every step of the way.
